OncoLink is the first cancer resource ever created on the Web. Developed in 1994, YIKES has been the Web team for the entire OncoLink Web site since 1996. Work includes all daily, weekly and monthly maintenance to the site. YIKES manages all databases, programming for the site, updating of content provided by the Editorial team, as well as period redesigns and improvements, logo designs and special projects. A customized Content Management System for the site was designed and programmed as well as CMS for translating and updating all articles into Spanish for the Spanish language version of the site at es.oncolink.org.

Philadelphia's Magic Gardens

Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a folk art environment, gallery space, and nonprofit organization that showcases the work of mosaicist Isaiah Zagar. The site captures the spirit of the Magic Gardens while meeting the promotional goals the organization. This site has a custom Content Management System with a news & events manager, multiple homepage "hotspots" and a custom photo gallery.

CLIF Bar GreenNotes

GreenNotes is a project of CLIF Bar and Co., the makers of the natural and organic CLIF energy bar. GreenNotes helps emerging musicians and bands green their tours. GreenNotes needed a site that was consistent with their printed materials and promoted their artists, events and promotions. We built them a "Pledge to the Planet" feature allowing visitors to make a pledge to live greener. It calculates the CO2 saved by their actions and, upon completion, provides an action plan. The site also has a custom Content Management System which allows GreenNotes to manage content, artists, videos, news, contests and more.

The Web site for this Center at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania was designed by one of our in-house designers. The Abramson Cancer Center needed a look which was simple, clean, and easy to navigate. Attention to ease of use ensures thorough dissemination of information to patients, friends and families of patients, and health care practitioners. A custom back-end secure content management system (CMS) allows for updating of all content on the site.

This meant creating a site that was not database driven but still easy to maintain. YIKES worked closely with their team to create a unique design and structure to meet their needs.

MANNA PA

YIKES provided a full redesign of the MANNA Website to provide an updated and more focused look and feel, as well as to upgrade to cutting-edge technologies. YIKES improved navigation and assisted MANNA in reorganizing the navigation. A completely new Content Management System (CMS) was developed. Improvements were made to the CMS adding additional functionality while retaining the key important features that were most used.

The LIVESTRONG
Care Plan

YIKES developed and created a complex back-end and front-end Content Management System for OncoLink and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The LIVESTRONG Care Plan allows users to create an individualized plan of care based on the Institute of Medicine recommendations for cancer survivors. YIKES continues to develop new versions of this project.
